I'm 21, recently engaged, and I built Local Flower because buying flowers took way too long and sometimes I still got ripped off.

Throughout my relationship with Amy, flowers were my weak point. I didn't know what colors meant (apparently yellow roses can mean friendship OR jealousy?), I had no clue how to keep them alive past day three, and I could never figure out where to actually buy them without getting ripped off.
The pricing was the worst part. I once found the same dozen roses for $25 at one shop and $75 at another literally two blocks away. Same roses. Same wrapping. Triple the price.
And trying to compare shops online? Half of them had websites from 2008 with three blurry photos. The other half looked great but had no prices listed anywhere. I'd spend an hour just trying to figure out my options.
But here's what made me realize how much flowers actually matter: Amy presses a flower from every bouquet I've ever given her. Every single one. She keeps them in a book. That's when I understood these aren't just plants. They're memories. And getting them right is worth the effort.
I just wished the effort wasn't so frustrating.

Your basic listing is free. If you want to claim your shop and add more details, that's free too. We offer optional paid upgrades for shops that want extra customization and potentially visibility.
